Excuse me if you find my question unnecessary, but it's something that bothers me. Just looking at the Magelo profiles of the Hall of FameI realize that the choice of each differs.

I have not found my happiness in the different topics of this forum, so I decided to create one myself. If ever I missed something, thank you for redirecting me. Above all, I said that this is a discussion about a level 1 rogue twink. My main interests are the PvP against any characters level 1x, and solo PvE. I know the question "what is the best" is perhaps not make sense However, please tell me how can I choose this?

Of course, I'll use a slow weapon for more damage Sinister Strike, procs from enchants. Moreover, the question arises as to the weapon of the right hand and of left hand Here is a very impressive study of this enchant.

It reduces damage taken by 15 melee and inflicts 30 damage points. After some calculations, it appears that Lifestealing heals better than Crusader, but I do not know what it is about the damage.

Heal seems for me very important in PvP, but I do not know what you think compared to the impressive increase in damage with Fiery weapon. Is the best enchant for the left hand weapon? In short, I really do not know what to choose. So I hope to get advice from experts, with arguments to make me choose one or the other, or to change my enchant depending on the situation.

As you said though personal prefrence does come into itForgot your password? By TalonariAugust 7, in Paladin. However with regards to Lifestealing being mentioned multiple times for the best Ret weapon enchant, does this actually scale with SP as I am currently not seeing any benefit from this?

Or are we just using it more as just a way to boost vengeance uptime? Also in raids would Shadow Oil be a good choice over elemental sharpening stones? Lifestealing USED to scale with spell dmg but it got nerfed to zero - however - they also fixed another bug which correctly allows it to trigger Vengeance when it crits which is much more important for overall Ret DPS. Use Shadow Oil at your own risk as it would most likely eat up improved shadow bolt debuff charges and make your guild warlocks hate you :P.

So Theloraswhat is the best enchant to use if lifesteal doesnt scale? Theloras I have a Zin'Rokh and an Obsidian Edge at the moment, I know looking at higher base damage and slower speed that Zin'Rokh should be the better weap but before I go and enchant another weapon with Lifesteal, would the strength and wep skill and Obsidian make any comparable difference compared to Zin?

Human so that's a tasty 13 wep skill, I know it reduces how effective it is after a certain point but will increase glancing damage and further reduce dodges would it not?

Yeah that's what I was thinking, just couldn't remember if the wep skill would of just had diminishing returns or just stop, can remember being a mark of some sort just couldn't remember which. Patch 1. Even then, it would be for a total of one patch on Elysium, as the next patch would 'remove' its ability to scale. Mathematically speaking, if you aren't facing enemies consistantly you would be better off with a slow two hander.

It just doesn't scale well. Theloras i saw u said in another post that we could hope a fix for lifesteal. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment. Sign up for a new account in our community.

Maximizing your performance in WoW Classic is all about consumables.

There are a lot of them usually they stack and using them all can have a bigger impact than a full tier of gear upgrades. With that being said, getting all of the consumables we will mention is extremely expensive, and as such, you should only use as many as you feel comfortable with.

Potions all share a cooldown in WoW Classic. You cannot use multiple potions at the same time, and when you use a potion it will start the cooldown for all potions.

That being said, it is still useful to have multiple potions in your bags for different situations. Being in combat does not affect your potion cooldown or availability. Grilled Squid is the best offensive food for Rogues. It offers a lot of Agility which is your best stat. The only issue is that Winter Squid is fairly difficult to obtain meaning this consumable could be pretty expensive on your server.

If this consumable does end up being expensive then use it sparingly and save for progression or difficult fights. Blessed Sunfruit is a good less expensive offensive food option. This instead increases your Strength which is less valuable than Agility but still a strong stat. This food requires Argent Dawn Revered reputation. Winterfall Firewater is an excellent consumable for Rogues, as it straight up increases your Attack Power.

Thistle Tea grants you Energy when used. Is it crafted with Cooking and the recipe is obtained from the quest Klaven's Towerwhich requires 70 Lockpicking skill. You should use this potion when:. These will mostly be useful during early Molten Core progression, especially on Ragnaros. Engineering bombs share a general cooldown of 1 minute, which means you should focus on the harder hitting ones that you can afford.

Classic Rogue DPS Enchants and Consumables

WoW Classic. Diablo III. Diablo IV. Borderlands 3. Overwatch 2.Forgot your password? Enchanting focuses on imbuing weapons and armor with magical empowerments. To do that, they Disenchant already empowered items and turn them into usable Dusts, Essences and Shards to be the materials for their Enchantments.

Because of this skill, it is strongly suggested to learn this profession as early as you can, so you can start to Disenchant any Uncommon green or better items you find to obtain the necessary materials.

In this guide, we will go over how to take advantage of this profession, how to quickly level it up, and how to use your enchants effectively. If you are a Cloth Armor user, you should consider Tailoringwhich, just like Enchanting, does not rely on gathered materials, making the two professions easy to pair.

This also has the advantage of being able to Disenchant Tailoring products either crafted during leveling your profession, or intentionally made to be Disenchant ed, which we have listed in the Obtaining Enchanting Materials from Tailoring section. If you are not a Cloth Armor user, Enchanting can also be paired with any of the other gathering professions such as HerbalismSkinning or Mining to make a nice earning on the side.

You can learn Enchanting from any Enchanting trainer, who you can find in most capital cities usually that of your race, such as Orgrimmar for Orcs or Ironforge for Dwarves and Gnomes. When you arrive in your city, you can ask any City Guard for directions.

After asking for the Enchanting trainer, it will be marked on your map, allowing you to go to them and learn Enchanting, as well as new formulas as you level it up. Below is a select list of Enchanting trainers that we have compiled for you. All capital cities have a Journeyman and an Expert trainer, except Darnassus, so we listed the highest level trainer of each capital city. To learn Artisan Enchanting, you will need to go to Uldaman Dungeonsee our Artisan section for details.

You should note that, to learn Expert and Artisan Enchanting, you will need to speak to special trainers see our Expert and Artisan sections for details.

Enchanters need a special crafted Runed Rod to apply their enchants to items. When you learn this profession, you will also learn how to craft your first one, a Runed Copper Rod. As you increase your skill in Enchanting, you will also craft stronger ones to apply higher level enchants.

To provide the materials, you will use the Disenchant skill on armor and weapons which are at least Uncommon green quality level. By disenchanting an item, you will turn it into enchanting materials such as Dusts, Essences, Shards or Crystals, and by doing so, you will destroy that item permanently.

Take care with what you choose to Disenchantso you do not regret it later. If you choose the wrong item to Disenchantdo not panic: simply press the "Escape" key or move your character before you complete the Disenchant cast and it will cancel, saving the item.

Also, you can apply enchants to other players via the Trade interface.

Formula: Enchant Weapon - Crusader - Item

When a player wants you to apply an enchant to their items, they or you will open a Trade and put their items on the "Will not to be traded" slot. Apply the enchant to that item by first choosing the desired formula and apply it to the item there.

In order to level Enchanting efficiently, you will want to craft orange items in your profession menu whenever it is cheap to do so, as it guarantees a skill up per craft. If you cannot craft something orangeyellow is an acceptable alternative, as these usually give skill ups.

Green recipes will rarely grant you a skill point, making them only worth it when the alternatives are scarce or expensive. Also, keep in mind that gray recipes cannot give you a skill point at all. The following list is the materials required to Level from 1 toassuming you are not unlucky with skill-ups. You may require more materials if you fail certain skill-ups.

Once you have passed 50 or reach 75 skill, you can go learn Journeyman Enchanting and new formulas from the trainers. Note that Disenchant ing items also awards skill points from 1 skill level to 20 and at 40 it becomes less effective and beyond 60 it will not give you a skill point at all.

So, you can use it to help your leveling between if you have a lot of items you can Disenchant. After you pass or reachyou can go learn Expert Enchanting and new formulas from these special trainers:.

After you reach skill, you can go learn the highest available skill level, Artisan Enchanting, from Annora inside the Uldaman Dungeon. She will be in a cave south of the Temple Hall and will appear after you clear the trash. If you have chosen to pair these two professions, Tailoring can be used to craft items according to your Enchanting material needs.

Many of the important formulas are sold by faction vendors and, after reaching certain levels of reputation, you can buy and learn them. You should target your reputation farming towards whichever enchants you would most like to have.Forgot your password? By UndertankerNovember 16, in Classes. I am wanting to update my weapon enchant away from 15 agility to one which incurs a chance on hit proc. A few common weapons that are used for tanking that have procs since the weapon speed can change things:.

Lifestealing enchant

Also we would need to take DMC - Maelstrom Proc rate into consideration as this can the proc the enchant as well. I do not have the raw numbers for to pull off this comparison, if any body does, any help in determining which enchant to use to up more procs on Dark Moon Card: Maelstrom, I would be very appreciative. Crusader will also increase your Block Value by 5 when it proc.

SBV to Shield slam damage conversion is This should be appropriate for the Warrior class forums as it is a discussion on enchants effecting tanking scenarios. Even Thunderfury is not an ideal weapon for some cases, like Vael. I reckon Zetox will be pretty quick out with a bug report on the rage generation formula used here. Kalgan Nost did not have the correct formula, I don't know the formula Elysium used. Maybe a developer Sidsukana? Lifestealing is debatable. I personally think it's ridiculous.

If you have top DPS in your raid pushing your aggro, a weapon enchant will hardly make any difference. Stats will do it for you when your DPS is pushing raidstats records, not procs. Never had an Ironfoe on Nost, so I can't say how good it is vs. The proc rate may have been low 2.

Thought about putting it warrior thread, but other classes would also benefit from knowing base white hit proc rates of these items. My inquiry was based on Nost rage generation of incoming damage.

Environmental science unit 1 review answers

If rage generations get changed more comparable to Kronos, then Crusader is a must IMO due to needing stronger white hits for rage. If you look at tanks on Kronos, where is supposed is correct, all tanks either used Crusader or Lifestealing for threat.

I myself used what is in my toon link on Nost, 8 hit, def if using Onxyia Tailsmancan't remember my base crit off the top of my head, but it was decent. Also here is formula originally written by Blizzard regarding Rage which is also broken in all Private Servers :. Undertanker You missed the point of my 2 posts. Threat generation scales more with offensive gear stats than procs proc items or enchants.

If I use Alcor's and it procs 1 time every 23 auto attack swings, from a 5k hit test, it gives an average proc rate 2 times every minute from autos.

Giving a 4.

Using the same 2ppm that Alcor's obtained, Vanilla mechanics adjust this to weapon speed2. Deathbringer will swing This gives us a proc rate of We factor in the max amount of global cooldowns possible of 40 in a min at a rate of Here's the official description of the Crusader enchant:.

Permanently enchant a melee weapon so that often when attacking in melee it heals for 75 to and increases Strength by for 15 sec. Quite informative compared to other enchants, such as Lifestealing. However, important information has been omitted. How often will Crusader go off?

Will the strength buff stack? Is it possible to improve the healing with gear that Increases healing done by spells and effects by up to X.

The aim of this document is to answer these questions and to show the combat logs if you would like to verify the conclusions presented here. This test was done with a level 39 rogue holding a Ardent Custodian enchanted with Crusader in the main hand fighting monsters at Raven Hill, Duskwood.

None of the rogue's special attacks were used during the fights. The auto-attack logs are available in a. It has been shown by other players that slow weapons with Crusader are assigned a higher chance to proc on each hit to compensate for their slower speed. This basically means that you can expect the same average number of Crusader procs from both fast and slow weapons when using auto-attack.

Assuming that Crusader's chance on hit for any weapon speed is calculated by multiplying the weapon speed with a constant, and that the 3. For example, a 1.

During my testing of Crusader I noticed that it on a few occasions proc'ed before a previous 15 second strength buff had timed out.

As expected the wielder was healed again. However, the strength buff did not stack - it was reset to 15 seconds. I have unfortunately not had the chance to test if dual wielding Crusader can stack, but many players state that it does.

If you have the opportunity to test this, please send me a screenshot that shows the double strength buff. A question that is raised among players considering enchants that heals the wielder - such as Crusader and Lifestealing - is if the healing effect can be improved with items that increases healing done by spells and effects by up to X.

This would certainly open up for some interesting combinations of gear.

However, a test with a Orb of Mistmantle in the off-hand had no effect on the healing. According to the 1.

Formula: Enchant Weapon - Lifestealing - Item

All item based self heals will no longer be effected by equipment that provides bonuses to healing. This change affects both the Arcanite Champion and the Crusader Enchantment. Their median sell prices are respectively 7 and 65 gold, according to the data available at Allakhazam. So the expected price would probably be around gold plus the enchanter's fee. I paid approximately 84 gold for the reagents and the enchanter charged 10 gold on the Dentarg realm.

I'm a DW fury warror and I love my crusader-enchants ; Planning to enchant it on offhand aswell, I had a screenie that showed it dual-procc but I could'nt find it any more.

I'll send you a screenie if I notice it myself :. The reason you haven't ever seen it is because of this very important fact: Each Crusader enchant per character provides a unique string value. What does that mean in simple terms? If you have a crusader on your Main Hand and Off Hand, when your MH procs twice in a row, the crusader enchant will be reset. However if the one in your MH procs followed within the next 15 seconds by a proc from your OH, you will gain an additional strength.

I have recently test a dual Crusader setup with my Rogue. I have also checked the stats to see the numbers and they work out 2x strength was applied. Proc percentage is kind of a crummy statistic. There are various weapon enchants available in the World of Warcraft game.

However, some end-game enchants are vaguely described. For example, consider the description for the Lifestealing enchant:. Permanently enchant a melee weapon to often steal life from the enemy and give it to the wielder. There's no information on how much life it steals, how much it heals and how often it happens.

The aim of this document is to answer these questions and to show the combat logs if you would like to verify the conclusions presented here. This test was done with a level 39 rogue holding a Black Menace dagger enchanted with lifestealing in the main hand fighting monsters in Duskwood. None of the rogue's special attacks were used during the fights. The auto-attack logs are available in Appendix A and the following are the observations:.

A discussion that goes hand in hand with many weapon enchants is if it's possible to get them proc more frequently increase the number of procs per unit of time by using instant strikes. The second test was done to shed some light on this, by letting the same level 39 rogue with the same weapon as the previous test also use Sinister Strike and Slice and Dice. The logs from this test are available in Appendix B. The following observations can be made from the logs:.

During the first test with auto-attack lifestealer proc on a 4. Clearly the wielder can benefit from instant strikes and talents that increase the attack speed. Lifestealer's chance on hit for the 1. Lifestealing can also proc from other instant strikes, such as Gouge. See the combat log in Appendix D. How often will Lifestealing proc from faster or slower weapons? The third test has the same precondition as the first test, that is, a level 39 rogue fighting with auto-attack only, but now holding an Ardent Custodian enchanted with lifestealing.

The combat logs for test 3 is available in Appendix C.
